Hard to find a starting point. Literally, we started hiking at the 66.5 mile mark. Solid trail with numerous scenic views. All protected by large tree for shade. Many historical markers explaining the importance of the river to the area and the U.S. The locs were very interesting. We did 4 miles of it on foot and an to do more.
Need to have a jogging stroller if you want to bring a stroller for kids but a nice walking trail
It's hard to beat the D&L. This lot was a good place to park. 4 miles to sand island. Miles and miles to run or bike in any direction.
Walk here all the time. From one end to the other. Love the birds. Love the water. Love the breeze. The views are AWESOME
It's a rough call, I like these oaths but sometimes there are cyclists, sometimes people with pets. It's hard to listen to music with headphones and walk the path when you might be in a cyclist's way.nNo bathroom, overly crowded. Not much to do.
