I was a first time visitor on Thursday September 24, 2020. I discovered this peaceful park on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. It was so peaceful walking around taking pictures. I did see a deer but she ran away before i could take a picture. The old bridge is ready to fall down and the mansion isn't much better. Plenty of free parking is available and a porta-potty is located in the lot near the trailhead. Check out the children's garden near the trailhead. The trails are marked and paved. I will visit again when I'm in the area.
Very nice walking paths through the old mansion estate. Some of them are easy and some go up and down the hill to Monocacy Creek.
A very good place for all ages. trails are well maintained.
