I had a great experience with my father today. My father is a 79 year old man with loads of health issues, and even with his issues he always likes to stay well groomed and well dressed . With all that was going on with the virus we took every precaution to keep my father safe so we haven’t got him a hair cut for quite some time. He was completely and utterly miserable about it! Today we decided to stop by the Barber school and give it a try. We were immediately greeted as I was helping my father out the car and the gentleman even helped my father and walked him inside where he was sat down on a chair right away and taken care of . My dad had a great conversation with the barber and told one of his many war stories from when he was in the military back in his hay day. My father was so full of joy with the way this gentlemen handled him during his haircut , that he hugged him as he left and thanked him for service . He helped my father into the car and provided us with his number for the next time my father needed a hair cut. We both would like to thank the barber Sam for his kind heart and professionalism . This gentleman’s actions with my father were exemplary of a caring & professional individual ! We will be back!

I graduated from LVBS in Nov 2020. They really set me up for success, Vito is an excellent teacher and is able to critique his students in a very positive manner. He has years of experience in the real world working in barbershops and makes sure his students are very well prepared, not only to take their state board exams, but for any haircut that may walk through the doors. Sam helped me through the financial aid process and was patient through all my questions ready with an answer. Zach and Vito were both knowledgeable with the theory classes and making sure we’d be able to pass our theory examination. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wishes to learn the craft of barbering. Whether you have years of experience or none at all, you will leave LVBS confident in your career and future endeavors.

After the pandemic and losing my job because of it , I decided I wanted to take my future into my own hands and start my barber career. Long story short I had a long conversation with Sammy and he helped me see the benefits of doing that and getting enrolled. I just spent a whole hour on a FaceTime call with Sammy as he walked me through the Fafsa Application process for financial aid. He went above and beyond the call of duty for me. Really cool guy and funny too. Great service so far I really can’t wait to start .
