I’ve ordered from here a few times, absolutely love the calamari, BUT the amount you get varies A LOT. Sometimes you’ll get the container packed to the brim, other times you can still see the bottom. Last night, I ordered 3 orders of it because I know sometimes you don’t get a lot, well, when I got home, I took the calamari out & was ridiculously disappointed. I was able to fit all of the calamari from all 3 containers into one & still see the bottom. Definitely not worth the $60 I spent on the entire order, especially since my husbands sandwich was soggy & mine was burnt.
We ordered $40 of food for delivery to a vineyard when we got it the food was cold, the fries were mushy, we got the chicken parm pizza which tasted like they chopped up store bought chicken nuggets and used that as the chicken, the garlic knots were severely under baked and the tiramisu was frozen. The only thing that was warm was the sauce they gave us on the side. They also didn't give us any utensils (plates, forks) to eat with.
Ordered a calzone, chicken fingers and penne vodka at 4:42 pm. The man on the phone stated “they would get it out to us as soon as they can”. At 6:45 called back because we had still not received our delivery order. Was told the food was waiting for delivery driver. Called back at 7:30 and was told they tried to deliver and that they tried to call. I did not receive or miss any calls during this period of time. They offered to “redeliver” the cold food or refund. Asked for them to remake food and deliver. Finally received food around 8 and it was awful. I will never order food from this place ever again.
My favorite Slate Belt restaurant. The food always great as is the service.
