Horrible place to get an auto loan through. Their website does not work properly at all. Bill Pay and Transfers do not work and just give errors. Contacted them 4 days ago and have yet to get any support.
I should be able to deposit a check into my account no matter the amount. My funds should be available immediately. Not the case here. Two day hold. MY check from two world wide established corporations in my name, all identifying proof provided and yet put on HOLD! Called bank and spoke with one, two, three individuals until they passed me off to “Elisha” who sounded confident enough to speak with an “ upset” customer and explain to me that there are fraudulent checks happening “in these days” and “we are protecting you”. This bank goes out of its way to insult and reprimand the customer!
I had a fraud transaction on my account, and went into a local branch, and the employees spent 3-4 hours helping me get that sorted.
Immigrants Beware! East Idaho Credit Union will only issue loans lasting as long as your Drivers License. If you are a Permanent Resident (have a Green Card), and you're applying for citizenship, is only 1 year. It doesn't matter if you came here legally and are married to a citizen. They did not inform us of this policy before doing a hard pull on our credit. I will not be going to them again unless they change this policy that severely limits the ability of immigrants to get a loan.
