Rexburg Madison County Airport

One of the best air shows with a large variety of vintage planes!!!

Just a strip to land on. Sometimes there's fuel, sometimes there's not. It's in a small college town. Idaho Falls and Pocetello are near by

Businesses on the Field that I was able to discover were, Legacy Flight Museum, Rexburg Air Services, and The Copter Doctor +. I am an A&P Mechanic fresh out of Portland Community Colleges Aviation Maintenance Technology program. I had hoped to find employment at this airport while I pursue a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering. Unfortunately, as I found out when I visited, the city of Rexburg isn't the most supportive of this local Jewel. All the businesses I visited on the field were friendly, but there was a uniform sense of disillusion from them towards the city. When I was calling to learn about the Airport I contacted Rexburg city offices. The gal I spoke to on the phone barely seemed aware that Rexburg even had an airport, and when I asked about businesses at the airport she mentioned the Museum, and then businesses in the area, like a car dealer ship and a heavy equipment dealer. This airport has so much potential for growth.

Good little airport. I heard they give you free short flights if you go do service.
