We visited here for the first time on Memorial Day weekend. Great place to hike around on easy trails, even with kids. Also quite a few people with kayaks and canoes, as well as fishing fans. We brought our dog, Cody. One thing we were surprised at were the large number of water snakes.nnIf you plan to go, check to see if there is anything going on at the amphitheater. We missed some music events from the day before.
