Zoup!

The place is clean and the food is okay. My Server was nice and extremely quick, but in all honesty, and I was a Restaurant GM for many years, $13 for a half of a sandwich and a cup of soup and a fountain drink is not a particularly good value.nI would like to add however that the young lady working was exemplary!

I love this place! No other places allow you to sample their items before buying... What a great concept! I've stepped out of my comfort zone many times and found out I really enjoyed other soups I may not have ever ordered! I love their chicken pot pie soup with a sprinkle of crust on top (and to go they include a little cup of crumbs separate so they don't get soggy in to-go containers!).nI love they're bisque soups... Lobster bisque is my husband's favorite! So many to choose from, I always get one more to-go for either myself or to drop off at my neighbor's house for her, since she's elderly and doesn't go out too much.

The staff was so friendly and kind to my family especially my toddler! Food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Was such a nice all around experience especially the wonderful service :)

Normally, I love coming here. The soup is always delicious and I love their cookies. However, our experience on 10/20 left a lot to be desired.nnThe people working seemed very impatient with everyone ordering. There wasn’t a rush and there wasn’t a line so I’m not sure why. We didn’t even try samples so it’s not like we were standing there hemming and hawing for 15 minutes. My boyfriend and I went to place our order and the person taking our order could not have been more unfriendly. Anything we asked for (literally just ordering a soup and a sandwich) he sighed after and kept asking “Anything else?” as if ordering a premade soup is some big ask. It wasn’t very welcoming to say the least.nnThe same man then ignored another couple who went up to ask for something. Instead, he went and filled his drink and spoke with a coworker. All while a customer stood at the counter waiting for service he didn’t receive. He literally gave up.nnI love the food here but the atmosphere was pretty unwelcoming. I’ll likely just go to the location closer to home from now on.

Usually a five star experience for me, but tonight I picked up a Take 2 that was very disappointing. The soup was great, but I had to pull out ~ 1/4 of wet inedible lettuce from the chicken Caesar salad, and didn’t get any bread. Not the meal I was hoping for or that I’m used to getting at Zoup.
