I grew up in that park. It was empty, Covid 19.. My family would be there all day. In camp, playing softball in the summer, and football/basketball fall and winter. It's were I meet my first girlfriend. Today I spent the day there with my grandson. In a word nostalgic.
Nice park but playground can be updated moreso....
This was the site of our Presidential Primary 2020 voting on Tuesday, June 2nd. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. Every now and then the line gets split into two, one for last names beginning with A- K and one for last names beginning with L-Z. Cherashore Park is home to the Gators football, baseball and basketball teams.
My dog and I love it here especially in the early morning before everyone wakes up! I wouldn't recommend it when the kids get out!
