Hair Cuttery

The worst haircut experience I have had in my adult life. I walked in and the woman who checked me in seemed bothers that I didn’t have an appointment (mind you there are no customers in the salon and it’s a Monday afternoon). Asked if I could sit for a couple of a minutes for the other girl to come back (even though there was another employee visibly just sitting in the back on her phone)- but, not really a problem with this for me. A mom walks in with her kids while I’m sitting and I hear her mumble “oh great, more people.” She checks them in and then proceeds to say to me “I’ll take you and the other girl can take them” with an inconvenienced tone. Wash was fine. Meanwhile the employee who had been sitting takes the child and this “other girl” I was waiting for walks in as my wash is finishing. As we walked back to the chair she said I may need to stand (yes, I have long hair to just below the middle of my back, but this is something that has never been said to me before- and then yes, I ended up standing for the entire cut). I showed her how much I wanted trimmed off and asked for some layers as well. She told me that I wouldn’t be able to see the layers because of how long my hair is...I’ve gotten layers in my hair every time I’ve gotten it cut for at least the last 10 years and again have NEVER been told this, even when I’ve gone to more professional salons. She’s combing my hair quite aggressively and usually people are more gentle around the ears. Not this one- she catches my cartilage earring and completely pulls the back off (which can even be hard to do with your hands with the way they click together, but what do I know) and it lands on her station- not even realizing this happened until I moved to grab my earring back and reconnect it to the stud that was thankfully still in my ear. She completely rushed through the cut and I was out the door. I didn’t want to ask her to cut off a little more or even have my hair blow dryed at this point. I paid and walked out the door. I was in and out the door in 20 minutes, including my few minutes waiting. I have had much better experiences at other locations and I will definitely not be returning to this one. Sorry for the inconvenience

Made an appointment but still waited an hour. Cut was good. Best to go in person vs make an appointment. If someone shows up right before your appointment, they won't hold your spot (completely negating the point of an appointment.)

They need to renovate this salon desperately. They also need to renovate some of their employees, they are RUDE!!

The stylist Hope was amazing!!! The atmosphere was inviting and calm not catty like some salons can be with ladies, my hair felt and looked wonderful afterwards, I could see and feel the transformation of my mane and a month later it still looks and feels great! But a Ladys work is never done and I will be returning shortly for Hope to do a treatment and trim to keep me on point.ud83dude1c

I've had my hair done at other locations. I got my hair cut here and asked for 1.5 inches off, and I've never had a worse haircut in my life. SO many pieces are cut completely different lengths.. I did not ask for layers or anything. I will have to get my hair completely cut again. The manager has been very helpful however, but I will never go here again.
