This was my first time getting micro’s in my hair, I was very happy with the way my hair came out. The two ladies that worked on my hair did a great job. They were well knowledgeable about any questions that I had and were able to answer them. I love my hair and have gotten so many compliments on my hair and how beautiful it was. I will definitely go back to them again.
Stylist never showed up. I arranged an appointment a week in advance for 10am. I texted to confirm the night before. I arrived to an empty shop at 10am the next day. I texted and called the stylist and she finally answered on the 3rd call and said her mother would be on her way and that she would call me back to let me know. I waited until 10:30am and never received a call back. Even as the day went on, I never heard anything about what happened or got any kind of apology. This incident unfortunately supports the stereotype about Black salons. The lack of professionalism is disappointing. I don’t like having my time disrespected. If there was an emergency, communicate that. Simple and plain.
