Quiet area off a community road.
Easy trails for walking. Mowed trails through the meadows and dirt paths through the woods. No hiking boots needed but do wear shoes/sneakers with a good tread.nnA delightful escape into nature: sounds of crickets and birds, variety of plants and trees, saw three deer running through the woods. A beautiful preserve.
Trails through meadows and beautiful old growth forest. Connects to Camp Woods Preserve for a 1 hour continuous hike, with short loops if desired. BIG trees (tulip poplar, poplar, and oak). Sunny sections and a deep thick darkly shaded wood for a cool walk on a warm day. Parking lot access off of Pennlyn Blue Bell Pike, through Beale Rd.
Solid preserve with a great sled hill. Can be difficult to get there but worth the effort.
Great little preserve.
