Canfield Mountain Natural Trail (West)

I usually head to Canfield mountain to take a break from my writing and to spend time outdoors when I'm staying at my mom's place. It can be a strenuous hike when you head straight to the top as I do. The views of Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding mountains off in the distance are really beautiful from the summit.

Love this place! This is one of our go-to hiking spots. It’s so close but once you get up on the mountain, it feels far away. I will typically due trail 1 straight up to get in a solid workout, but there are many trails on the mountain to explore.

Great place for a quick 3 to 6 mile hike with good elevation

So many trails to choose from and amazing views to see.

Tough hike if you go to the top, but the views are worth it
