Sunspot at Yap-Keehn-Um Beach

It's a beautiful beach!nBeen coming since l was a child for Vacation!nBeach is still fairly clean, due to number of Garbage cans provided.nParking can be an issue.

Super clean spot right next to some public restrooms. Great little beach for the family. Bring floaties and life jackets for the family. Not worth swimming without them.

Really pretty until rude people went right in front of our group of 5 and set up tents.

Went here a lot for my Writing in the Wild class at NIC. I've never tried really connecting with nature or even writing about it. Growing up in Cali didn't afford me alot of opportunities to find a quiet calm place to sit and just listen and think.nTurns out this lakefront with nothing but the sounds of birds, waves breaking on the shore, and wind rustling the leaves (and boat engines) is a great place to be one with nature ud83dudc9aud83dudc9aud83dudc9a
