It's okay a lot of things were closed, not enough places to just sit and chill
This is such a nice park. So clean and there's so much to do. Basketball nets, Baseball field, golfing, mini golf, playground, and picnic area. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is bc you need to be a resident to go into it and there's a ranger checking ID. Which doesn't seem fair to me. I've never heard of any park rules like that smh
Shame it's only open to locals, but Alverthorpe is a great spot. Saw two belted kingfishers and an anhinga last time I was there.
Tucked away in a quiet Abington neighborhood, Alverthorpe is a great place to golf, hike, fish, play basketball or just relax
Beautiful park with tennis, golf, basketball and other sports. Absolutely gorgeous views. Trails are also great
