A beautiful trail that i encourage you to take slow. Look both up and down, as the shady covered places where the sun doesn't reach are just as beautiful as the tops of the sunbathed trees against the sky. This area has a large variety of trees, plants, algae, and fungi, as well as some wildlife. It ticks all the boxes on a scenic nature hike: flowers, open sky, covered tree tunnels, stone steps, small bridges, and even some benches made out of fallen trees.
We find this trail perfect for walking our dogs. It is well marked and easy walking. There are places where our one dog likes to wade in the stream.
This is a short loop trail, 1.5h if you stroll. The parking is free and the parking lot is not well maintained. Though we managed to walk this trail with a stroller, it is not stroller friendly, we had to lift the stroller since there after steps and at one place you have to walk on stones to cross a creek. The area is beautiful though, it worth to try.
Great trail next to a nice creek!
Get out of the casino and take a hike you heart and wallet will thank you XD very relaxing
