Great views. Trails are somewhat poor but I'm assuming most people come to take in the views and not to hike. The parking lot at the top gets very full and there was a lot of back up from cars just sitting waiting for parking. I would suggest driving the loop where there is ample parking along the road. There are a good # of tables and benches so would be the perfect backdrop for a picnic!
This is a beautiful place to visit. The colors are beautiful during this season. Its always kept clean and so well groomed. Live very near here for 50++ years and I never got tired of the beauty of the Great Pocono Mountains!
We drove to the summit. There was virtually no one there. The view was nice and there were trails going all the way down. We saw a dear too. There is paved road looping around the summit with 4 small parking lots.
Great park with great views. Easy trails.
The view from Big Pocono is the best in the area. However, be cautious because people are not social distancing well.
