A very nice park. Definitely recommend to take one of the multiple trails
Great walking path through woods around a pretty lake. Well traveled path, so hiking boots are not necessary,runners will work just fine. Easy path for all ages. Saw a beautiful Eagle fly to her nest and I heard some screeching... Momma was pushing her little one out for its first flight .
Wonderful place to visit and great beach to swim at.
I went on hike and boating and it was really nice and peaceful.
We came to kayak. Nice, relaxing paddle! The boat launch is easily accessible for both trucks with trailers (make sure you have an electric motor) and for vehicles with roof racks. Easy to put our boats in/out even with a 6yo. They also have rentals.nI have also been here to swim at the beach. The geese tend to leave a little bit of a mess and there's a bit of algae but it is a nice place to meet friends with kids for picnic (there are picnic tables), swim, playground fun. Swim area is roped off in the water. No lifeguards. There are public bathhouses but you need coins for the showers. I'm local so I just head home.
