My wife and I spoke to one of the gentleman there and specifically talked about filing for an injured spouse(Form 8379) to be precise due to myself having some back tax issues. Well come to find out this morning, after seeing a significant percentage of our taxes being withheld to pay off the debt, Form 8379 wasn't even filed with the taxes.nSo long story short, because they failed to submit the correct form which we were told was submitted, my wife of less than a year of being married is paying for something that happened 9 years ago. Would have had better results at H&R Block.

Fantastic place. Not only do these guys have 40+ years of combined experience, they keep record of conversations and requests about your return so if theres something you think was wrong on your return you can go over the records, figure out where, and have it fixed.nnSometimes spouses don't communicate well with each other and lines get crossed resulting in an unexpected return and the wrong people get blamed.
