Nice place off 1-84 to take a break from a long driving but would also be good for a longer walk along the river, and for a picnic... self service fee with exact change or check. Very few people in late October. Unique for someone from out of state.
A very quick detour as you are driving down 84. Very scenic and a great way to learn how the surrounding lands were formed over millions of years. You will have to pay in order to enter the park but it is worth it and the pass will work for all Idaho State parks for that day.nnThere were a very small number of people visiting which made distancing very easy. Don't overlook this one!
Wow, do not pass by this place without stopping. Amazing!
