El Tenampa

First time at El Tenampa. Service was good, and was looking like an authentic Mexican restaurant. Had a extensive menu. If you could not find what you were looking for, you were not hungry. When I am in the area and want good food and service l will eat at El Tenampa.

Went out to eat to this restaurant and our waitress did not wear a mask made us very uncomfortable as she was talking while serving our food and drinks. I get Idaho doesn’t require mask but come on you work in a restaurant show some respect for your customers. I don’t know if it was the salsa or beans but something tastes very weird like old.

Kind and attentive staff, fast service, great food and drinks, nice atmosphere and decoration, low prices. I highly recommend this place. They also have $3 margaritas on Wednesdays!

We have been eating here for 3 years. Always had excellent service and food was amazing! Tonight was the worst experience ever! Host was rude. Server was rude and food was burnt! We ordered margarita ( we always have) they were all mix and no tequila.nThey didn't even offer to take some $ off the bill. We will never return!

We came in last night for dinner because it was a memorial dinner for a lost loved one. He loved Mexican food so we came In to get some food. And my daughter ordered nachos and they had barely any cheese and the chips were burnt black. The beans tasted old and my enchiladas didn't have any kind of sauce on them. The last time I came in I ordered the same exact thing and it had come with red sauce so thats why I ordered the same thing. I asked the waitress and she said it comes that way. My sons burrito was made with the old beans so he really didn't eat it. My husband said his food was good and the fried ice cream was really good. But the churros were not that good especially for a Mexican Restaurant. We still tried to have a good time despite the bad food. We will not be returning. Thank you.
