Price Chopper

Was humiliated in the store! Price chopper is making up their own limit of 1 piece of meat per family! Which is insane especially if you’re not selling family packs of meat! The manager clearly was too young and immature to understand to meaning of a family! His only alternative to his limit was to offer you $13 of meat! Then the other manager says it’s a limit of 2 which is fair! To make matters worse they can’t even sell the meat fast enough because most of the meat was past its sell date and had coupons on them! Price Chopper as been know to be unsanitary in the past with little holes in bread and bagels due to mice! Now to make up their own limits on items that doesn’t even meet the customer needs is ridiculous! Yes they have “a right to make up their own rules” and I have to right to sue you when those rules go against what’s moral right!

I went to the meat counter to try out something other than Wegmans. I asked for a half of a pound of 3 items. I stood and waited for a few minutes but could tell it was going to take a little longer so I went to grab grapes. I came back and the young lady was cutting for another person. I asked her where my items were and she said she couldn't remember and moved on to the next customer. In the beginning I stood there and watched her pull out the items (that were still sitting on the counter). She simply chose to move on to the next person and not complete my cut. She then proceeded to ask me to wait so she could finish up their equally lengthy order before she completed mine. Maybe im crazy but I don't feel good about that interaction and will pay the more expensive prices if that means I will get better service.

What a joke! Will be calling corporate in regards to this being I’m not the only one that has been humiliated by Price Chopper!nnWas humiliated in the store! This place is absolutely gross. The clientele and workers are fn nasty. Cashiers are slow as watching paint dry.

I have never been so humiliated in public in my life before today. After going to two other stores I was thrilled to find price chopper had water today! They had a 2 per limit household rule which I completely support and respect as many people are over buying items. My friend and I drove separately but walked in together to buy some necessities. After our university closed down we realized we would have no access to bottles of water with our meal swipes therefore we wanted to have bottles of water in our apartments. We live about 10 minutes away from each other in completely different buildings. Apparently since a co worker saw us walk in together when we were checking out separately at the same register she immediately began making a scene repeating in our faces I saw you guys walk in together you can’t buy 2ncases each. I tried to explain to her we drove separately and live in separate apartments. She continued raising her voice saying it didn’t matter she was calling her manager. My friend tried to go purchase her water in a separate isle to prove we really are not together. She then grabbed her water and my cart and said since you guys can’t listen you can’t get any water. We left. I was in tears. My mother called the manager and explained even if we did come together (even though we didn’t) not all college kids have cars and just because you come together does not mean you live together. She was apparently very apologetic and said that shouldn’t have occurred. I will never be back here again. The situation could’ve been handled so differently instead of constantly talking over us when we tried to explain multiple times it said 2 waters per household. We didn’t live in the same household nor did we drive together. We just wanted water for our apartments after being already exhausted from checking 2 other stores. Such a shame
