Great place to shoot clays or go to the range (50yd / 100yd). Generally plenty of room to shoot, weekends can be a bit full but you can squeeze in usually. Make sure you get your range permit (~$32) before you head out.
Nice cover to keep you out of the sun. Clean from trash and a brass pickers dream. If I remember correctly three 50 yard and about 10 100 yard benches. Very few people on a Monday morning and the few people that were there followed the rules without problems. New shooters just asked questions like no pistol allowed at this range.
Annoying magazine restriction and slow fire rules that are unnecessicary and annoying. This whole area is terrible for people who appreciate the freedoms they should be able to avail themselves, and PA is supposed to be better for this, but unfortunately this range feels like it's in NJ, not PA based on the rules.
I'd like to say this place is terrible don't go because I enjoy it so much. There is ample land to hunt or hike and a creek to fish. It is garlands not a park so trails aren't always well established. There is a rifle range and shotgun range for clays. You must have a PA hunting license to use the ranges and abide by state laws. The ranges are as nice as the people who use them
Is what it is. Good place to shoot and has a covered shooting area makes it nice to keep the sun off you when shooting for a few hours
