I was excited to see the playground next to the Ice House after not being down Sand Island for years!! Great equipment.nKudos to ALL involved in the process of bringing this nice park to fruition!!nI had a heart warming time with my beautiful 2 year old granddaughter, Lily.
Good fishing
Nice playground equipment for children, but trash receptacles were overflowing. It seemed they had not been enjoyed in weeks. Overall, area was unkept. Parks Dept. could do better.
Me and my fiance love to walk through sand island. We took our baby fir the first time and she enjoyed the trails and nature.nOnly reason i gave 4 stars is because unfortunately there is some trash in the water
This trail is always very well-kept, and the staff that does it is normally very friendly as well! Being out alone on my bike as well as walking with my son in his stroller, we have had multiple interactions with workers taking care of the trail who would stop what they were doing and move out of our way. Beautiful sites, beautiful environment.
