I'm a softball umpire, and I worked a game at Jasper Park last week. Really neat place to play softball. The field is an old converted baseball field, so the infield is technically too big, but for evening games the field is almost 50% in the shade, which during the hot summer months is awesome! The park itself looks pretty neat, too. Great playground area right next to the ball field, picnic area, gazebo, and I think there's a trail or two also. I was only there to work my game, but the park had a real nice feel to it.
Jasper park is always a good place to go to on lunch breaks it back and relax. Also you can walk around and see a little bit of our history.
A lot of fun things to do.
Park has been redone. There is a great trail for walking near by. Dog supported
