TownePlace Suites by Marriott Albuquerque Old Town

I have to stay that this hotel was amazing. First thing I noticed was how friendly the front desk lady was, much nicer than the Fairfield inn that I stayed in last night. When I entered the room..I couldn't help but notice the full size fridge and double cook top. The shower was large and very refreshing after a long drive. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Fancy ~ I believe this hotel is quite new, so when we got to our suite, everything looked nice and clean. The suite was more than what we needed that night since we were literally just going to wash up for the night, sleep, and leave early in the morning to continue our road trip back home. Sadly, we didn't get to use the suite to its full potential since we did not stay long enough to use the kitchen, but everything was great there. The toiletries provided were also nice as they were a known brand, full-sized, and with a nice scent. The only complaint I had was that the curtains were see-through and I prefer if outside people could not peak in. Other than that, this was the nicest place we got to stay at during our road trip.

Brand new hotel. Was open 2 weeks when we visited. It is convenient to Old Town Albuquerque which we visited briefly while passing through town. It is convenient off of the interstate as well. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed in this COVID pandemic time to find prior occupant's bowl of soup in refrigerator. What else was not cleaned before we arrived? Hotel front desk only apologized when I mentioned it when checking out. TownePlace Suites is convenient with their kitchen and refrigerator. It's helpful to refreeze my cold packs for our coolers for food and drinks. For the included breakfast, I was disappointed in the paper bag prepared ahead of time that only included a tiny breakfast burrito (with no instructions for how to heat it up? or eat it cold?), yogurt, and a fruit (orange?). I tried heating up the burrito and it was not worth it. Rest of my party ignored the breakfast. I appreciate they keep costs down by asking ahead of time if anyone wanted breakfast and marked you down when you picked them up. Other than the lack of thorough cleaning and essentially lack of breakfast, I was happy with my stay.

Super new hotel! Furniture, appliances, and fixtures (bathroom, walls, lights) are incredibly new. The lobby, outdoor area, fitness center all looked nice as well. It seems like the entire area around the hotel is being completely rebuilt, since there is a lot of construction going on. It will be exciting to see what types of businesses/restaurants will be located next to this hotel. The hotel has great location, near old town, and right off the I-40 highway, and 1 exit away from the I-25/I-40 interchange. The room itself was large, spacious, and comfortable. I really enjoyed the furniture. Our table was huge (enough to fit 4 people). The chairs and couch (although for one person) were extremely comfortable. Bed was firm, and the pillows were fluffy. Bathroom was super clean, and surprisingly large. Toiletries, towels, and bath products were in great quality. And to top it off, I was most delighted with the mint-scented shampoo, and body soap. Breakfast option was ok, but understandable due to the pandemic. There wasn't any hot food served. However, they did have a variety of breakfast burrito, muffins, cereal, yogurt, milk, juice, eggs, fruit. Wifi is good and reliable. Pool and fitness center seemed nice, but I didn't get a chance to use it. Most of the staff I dealt with were wonderful and courteous. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. It seemed to me the hotel had great value to go along with a not-so-expensive price. Would highly recommend this place!

We were here for just one night but the hotel was nice and clean. The room was comfortable with a really nice shower and bathroom. A hot breakfast was served.
