Mountain View RV Park and Restaurant

Very nice but nothing spectacular. Reasonably priced to match. Great location relative to the Craters of the Moon Park, and all easy pull through sites. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the areas attractions.

I re visited Mountain View RV Park and stayed longer. Not only is this a great park for a one night layover. It's a great location to stick around and see ID.nAs usual, the owners Ron and Fillis extended hospitality, a solid 10. This time I was there for Ron's Ribs and they are delicious. Locals come in and share hometown stories. A little tip bit on Arco Airport. Looong Runway.nI visited the Sawtooth Mountains, Sakajewea Trail, Shoshone Falls, Clean Museum, Potato Museum and Lava Hot Springs. And Craters of the Moon. Unfortunately the smokey haze set in. You can view the Northern Lights from there on a clear night.nThis isn't just a blip on the map, make it a destination and explore.nAll pull thru sites, FHU, big rig friendly, great water, friendly neighbors and did I mention the Ribs.

Ron was a wonderful host. We stayed 13 nights and thoroughly enjoyed somewhere that actually has rules. We found this park to be very clean, the laundry room was also very clean. Ron can also smoke some amazing ribs on Friday nights. If you are there on a Friday be sure to try them. The park was quiet, peaceful, shady and very enjoyable. Thank you Ron, you do a great job.

Ron and his furry assistant Holly greeted us with friendly smiles and wags. Our stay here was so relaxing and peaceful. Plenty of trees perfectly trimmed, spacious spots, green grass for our pups to enjoy and star filled night skies. New and clean laundry, unfortunately the bathrooms were closed during our stay but it did not take away from our experience. Will def stay here when passing thru Acro again. 10/10 THANK YOU RON!

Man I wasn't sure when I booked this park, out in the middle of nowhere..RV parks in remote areas can be sketchy at best, but this place is great super clean, quiet, well run.. even though it is basically run by one man,Ron the owner.. a man of many talents..I was bummed that covid out a damper on his smoked ribs, supposedly some of the best ever..
