Grayback Gulch Campground

This campsite provided a great getaway that was close to Boise.nnPros: Large campsites, large and secure picnic tables, well maintained toilet pits and campground, not too busy during the week, steep but nice walking areas.nnCons: Not a lot of signage off of the highway and easy to miss, not a lot of trees in-between campsites so there is a lack of privacy, we had problems with bees when cooking while it was sunny, a nearby house had a dog barking nearly all night, we had multiple people pull in around midnight and sleep in their cars.nnOverall I feel the good outweighed the bad and I would return to this campground.

I couldnt find the camphost but my site was beautiful and spacious. Down side, neighbouring landowners were up early cutting down large pine trees. I dont like seeing or hearing trees being cut but I guessed they need winter fire wood.

Greyback Mulch was a short easy trip from Boise and a perfect getaway for a day/ night camping trip. Not busy during the week. Well cared for grounds, water available in many locations, pit toilets are clean and not smelly.

A little hard to spot from the road and the campsites are a little close together, but over all nice. And well maintained.

Great campsite, group sites were huge with lots of provided tables and parking.
