The Military Reserve

Great place to do some hiking, or biking. Close to town and yet seems miles away. Great views of the city when you get to the top of most hills. Dry and dusty most of the year but thats a high mountain desert is. It is a popular place so the parking is hard to come by. Fair warning.

Dog park is clean but does not have adequate shade or seating; the off-leash hiking path was more fun for my small dogs.

This was a very fun walk with the dogs, people were very respectful on the trail of each others space.

There is a lot to do for everyone here. They have some great trails for hiking, mountain biking, or running. They have a dog park with a section for small dogs and a section for all dogs. They also have a bike park with asphalt ramps and turns and also a dirt track with ramps for all levels of riders.

Rode the bike park several times. Water fountain, access to tools. Friendly people there. Nice groomed jump tracks and a couple short single-tracks off to the side.
