MK Nature Center - Idaho Fish and Game

Nice little nature garden in Boise. No charge to get in and walk around. Peaceful and relaxing and they have a 30 year old Sturgeon which is a fish that was around in the time of dinosaurs! It's 7 feet long too. Cool. My son said that he loves this place winter and spring because of lots of blooming flowers. I think I love it too.

Great place to get out, walk around and look at some fish. This place is very well set up for kiddos and has great shade cover for summer months.nnBonus points to the employee going around and sanitizing the glass where kids touch.nnIt is free to get in and I think due to covid donations are hurting. The gardens are normally (well from what I remember as a kid) very beautiful. It doesn't look like they were touched this year.

Great set up

A beautiful, almost hidden gem in Boise. A peaceful little oasis to get away from it all and enjoy nature. I love this place. Need to go back soon.

Loved it even in the late fall. Nice big Sturgeons and Trouts in the ponds. Plenty of other wildlife.
