I've gone to this park with my friend a few times. It is a very nice park and usually quite busy with other dogs and their masters. Everyone is very friendly and for the most part the canines get along in the leash-free zone. To enter the dog area you cross a bridge and pass through a double locking gate. In order to escape the pups need to be extremely sly or very good swimmers. There are usually plenty of tennis balls on the ground or ducks to keep your furry friends occupied. Also featured are a few park benches which allow for hide and seek/tag type of games for smaller dogs.

This park is awesome! Beautiful trees, large open fields, a dog park, a disc golf park, tennis courts it's amazing. The disc golf course is a really good course; easy to moderate difficulty with a decent mixture of short and long, left and right turns, a couple minor water hazards (that you can easily retrieve discs from), well marked signs, and groomed tee pads. Highly recommended.

Great park next to the Boise River. It's a good place to park for a walk along the Boise Greenbelt with a nice footbridge over the river. We like to park here, cross over the bridge them walk along the Greenbelt to the other side of the river to Julia Davis park, cross the river there and come back on the west side of the river to Ann Morrison park.nnThe playground has been reopened after bring closed since March 2020 due to Covid.
