I've tried everything from expensive Merino wool base layers to even electronically heated underwear, and I always go back to Brynje. The design is smart and it truly keeps you warm. And in the afternoon, taking off a jacket cools you soooo quickly. I'm able really control whether I'm too hot or cold with these clothes. The only negative is washing: DO NOT MACHINE WASH! Otherwise, you'll be making clothes for Barbie and Ken. This stuff shrinks. But if you're willing to handwash after a few wears, it's the best.
