This location has been nothing but great for me! Not sure why there is so much hate on here other than people being dumb about their money/banking. I live close by so I opened a FREE checking account and have had no issues. Everyone in the branch is very nice. Sometimes there is a bit of a line and only one teller but that is the only negative thing I can think of
After depositing my checks and withdrawing some money I asked the clerk MULTIPLE times what my account balance was after the withdraw! He assured me of my balance. I don’t have my debit card yet so no transactions have been made I was counting on that balance and now my balance is significantly less! I am not happy! First week being with this bank and already having issues. Maybe I’ll transfer to capEd
Watch out for Key. I tried to get a savings and checking account there. The lady said it would be better to set up two checking accounts. She also set up SIX automatic monthly transfers of $25 between accounts so i wouldnt incure a maintenance fee of $12.50. They love those frequent transfers you forget about when money is low or youve made a big purchase. They just looove those $38 overdraft fees. It's a sales bank not a customer bank.Go to Idaho Central Credit Union for a local customer oriented finacial institutions.
I was told if i opened an account i would get $200 worth in points that i could concert into cash. Now they say i never qualified for that. I should have know to not trust a bank.
Where I simply love Key Bank, period, I DO NOT like the Overland branch of it.nThe staff there is less-than-cordial, especially Pasquale, and therefore I do my banking at the Idaho Street branch downtown. They're far friendlier THERE.
