Went there to by milk there today. There is a sell by date on their cartons. Each gallon of 2% was beyond it by a week. The manager came to address it. Said it wasn't an issue? He explained there are three dates on their and he doesn't pay attention to the sell by date..?!? Then why is it there? You expect your customers to buy it even past the sell by date? In one case it was 17 days past the sell by date and was truly expired. He left it there. Blows my mind.

A large clean place. Friendly workers. But when I decided that I wanted nachos for a snack all they had were chips and cheese.with a cardboard sandwich tray to put the cheese in. I asked the worker for something to put the cheese in that was more sanitary, he said that was what I was supposed to use. By the time I paid for my nachos and got out to my car the cardboard container was soaked through and the cheese tasted like wet cardboard. I ended up throwing it away.nNot good!!

I don't know what it is about this place, but the people here are so nice! I jokingly left a 1,000,000,000 dollar bill in the powerball coin thingy and watched the workers crack up.

Special thanks to Manager Torson Kramer and his staff for making our Christmas here at Prospect Elementary school a little bit brighter. With the funds available to him to use in the community. He and another Maverick employee delivered food, playground balls, and school supplies for our students. If/when you stop by the Maverick be sure to thank them for their generosity! We appreciate it and I know our students will also appreciate it.
