Mr. Formal Boise

I had the best experience possible while renting a tux at Mr. Formal. I went to the location on Fairview and I had an event coming up in about a week. I was super stressed because I didn’t know if that would be enough time. However LeighAnn and Andrea were able to help me a ton by making sure they had it delivered on time. They also ironed my whole outfit to make sure it would still look nice after I tried it on and wrinkled it a bit. They went above and beyond for me like you wouldn’t believe. I ended up getting my tux 3 days before I was expecting it and was able to pick it up without any problems. The one thing that really caught my attention was when I was coming back to drop off the tuxedo. Even though I was going to be a little bit late they were able to go above and beyond for me to make sure I could return it on time. This is the best service I have experienced in a very long time. Super friendly and super personable as well. While I was waiting for my tuxedo to be ironed I was able to have a full conversation. All together it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be going back the next time I need a rental.

My husband to be and I chose Mr. Formal after reading another post from a gay couple that felt welcomed here. I totally agree with their review. At no point did we feel like the odd guys out. The woman that helped us listened to our concerns about me being too hot in a full tux and took us straight over to the vest suites that they had which were perfect. She was able to give us just the look we wanted with alternating colors, my main color was his accent and his main color was my accent. Please give them a shot.

This is three years late...nnIn 2016, I called this business and had to ask, because it's Idaho, if there would be any sort of issue with my (now) husband and I renting tuxedos for our marriage. I was laughed at for asking and told no, then it got serious and I was asked if we had ran into an issue with someone else.nnI knew right then with the lightness of the laughter, but immediate seriousness and concern afterwards that this was the place.nnMy husband and I were treated with nothing but absolute respect and dignity in a place where we have fears holding hands in public.nnThank you, Mr. Formal! Your people skills rock and you have customers and advocates for life!
