Hidden Summit Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine

Discovering Hidden Summit Acupuncture has been a very positive experience so far. Issues I was having with my lower back/ hip along with planters fasciitis in my foot has almost completely gone away! I am excited to continue this journey and if your having doubts about acupuncture, all I can say is your missing out. The staff is kind and courteous and the environment is relaxing, clean and sanitary. I couldn’t recommend them anymore than I already do!

My 1st try with acupuncture and cupping. Over the years I have had problems with my shoulders getting stiff from lifting heavy items. Two weeks ago, I developed tingling in my hand. I could feel it was radiating from something to do with my shoulder. I had two sessions with Bex and the tingling is gone! My shoulder has never felt better. She also gave me some suggestions for breathing and posture exercises to help strengthen those areas of my body. I am so glad that I chose to go here rather than a general practice doctor that most likely would have given me a muscle relaxer. Both sessions were very relaxing. Thank you!!!

An ER experience that was so much wasted time in pain and ridiculous cost, I had to think of another way if I ever get badly hurt. Sure enough less than a month I strained badly my neck, shoulder, and arm. I lifted 5 5 gallon bottles using my right arm only to protect my left side that I just 3 weeks ago injured badly my left leg, arm, and lower back. That time I was working for delivery company for extra large packages, and I use to lift 80 lb packages on my right shoulder but one day something popped and it was instant pain struggling to put the package down but having to work all week long like that destroyed my lower left side leg and lower left side of back, so you can see why i was overly protective of my left side but to the detriment of my right side. I thought my right side (arm, shoulder, and neck) was unable to get hurt. Ive never these particular muscles before. I called this office with a pain level of 7 to 10, 10 being a good portion of my day. After 1 week of increasing pain to the that point, I knew I need help. I am not able to heal. Those muscles were inflamed and it was debilitating. My neck was throbbing along with my shoulder and arm feeling like 50 Charlie Horses every minute and there is 2 lumps that must be pressing on my nerves that runs down my arms, zinging me continually. So crazy how easy i got here is scares me. My wife was getting depressed looking at me so strong and vibrant was barely able to be lift my head. My wife said your head is leaning down. I said it's because my neck hurts to straighten it. Too long like this and other parts of my body will be effected. Well thank goodness after only 2 visits later less than a week because I wanted to get as much treatment as she can give me. She gave me 3 days between visits. The first 48 hrs can be tough as your body gets either rid of toxins or because the body switched from inflammed to healing it feels super sore like working out super hard when you haven't worked out for over a year it's going to feel different not pain inflamed (out of control). I felt the sore pain healing happening and I was right because every day I feel better after 48 hours from treatment it feels amazing. My body is healing. She removed the blockage that must have been accuring. I never went to an acupuncturist before but she healed me and I trust her skills more than any human. She listened very well to me and comforted me throughout. Very easy to call and get your questions answered. She is a dream and a miracle to me. One day I day dreamed while I was in one of the worse pain in my life that I would fine a Dr. that would heal me. I prayed and some time later an acupuncturist came to my thoughts. She has great reviews for a reason. You will be glad you found her. I am!

After being seen by multiple acupuncturists in the Treasure Valley area, Hidden Summit Acupuncture is by far the best! Giacomo and Bex are such professionals. During each visit, Giacomo really takes the time to understand my overall wellness before offering any treatment. He gives me the confidence that all ailments are being addressed. Thank you!

I am so glad to have Hidden Summit. I was diagnosed with MS about 3.5 years ago and have done everything I can stay off prescription medication. I also struggle with complex trauma and I have to say that after few visits with Bex, I am seeing improvements in physical well being as well as mental and emotional. I went in the first day with a sharp pain in my head and after the first visit it was gone. I know it will come and go as this is a progressive disease but I have hope and faith that working with Bex will continue to benefit my overall health!
