Favorite coffee spot in Boise! Very friendly people and relaxing atmosphere. They serve tasty coffee that is roasted in the same spot they serve it. The food never disappoints either. The breakfast bowls & tamale pie(picture) are great, but you can’t beat when the cinnamon rolls are fresh. There’s a very friendly shop dog too. Best part is they don’t infringe on personal liberties ud83cuddfaud83cuddf8!

Great coffee, location, and atmosphere. Although I am a staunch supporter of mask wearing for the sake of others, I understood, to some extent, their desire to leave the decision up to patrons. However, with the massive increase in cases, shortly followed by the mayor's enforceable mask mandate, and hearing staff members discuss their intent to invite as many people as possible to their Thanksgiving gatherings in protest, I will no longer be going to Caffeina and will be recommending to my friends, family, and acquaintances to avoid it as well. Additionally, they are not enforcing social distancing at all. Such a bummer.

Friendly staff, delicious coffee and food, but the big word here is ATMOSPHERE. It's always busy, and there's always a buzz, even in these crazy times. They have the best indoor space of any coffee shop in Boise: lots of comfy places to sit, big patio, adequate lighting, and even good taste in music. Their only competitor in this category is Awakenings, on the exact opposite side of town. Caffeina doesn't require masks, which is a plus for me, maybe not for some. If you're in a situation where you have to wear a mask, there might be better cafes to visit, but giving 1 star over something like that is kinda unfair. My only problem with this place is the location: it's too far from where I live!!!!!!!

I love this place! The coffee is good, not the best. The staff is always very friendly and chill.

Boise's best homegrown, locally owned coffee shop. Products and service are second to none. Atmosphere is warm, inviting and energizing. I couldn't be happier with my neighborhood coffee shop. I particularly recommend the spiked chai and their breakfast burritos in the morning. In the evening their beer and wine selection is top notch.
