I’ve heard so many good things about ICCU, but my experience so far has been lack luster. I applied for the free checking account online, and was denied. I didn’t get a reason why or a follow up email or other communication. A week later, I called and I spoke to a banker virtually and she said my credit was too low (450) and she couldn't help me because the people in charge were gone for the holiday (Veterans Day) I was told I could pay for my checking account which I declined because I’ve been diligently working & tracking my credit and there was no way it was that low. I went into the branch and the credit that they had on file was from 3+ yrs ago and i was 160 point higher than what they initially told me. Waited a significant amount of time for this to happen, then they couldn’t give me a debit card. No big deal. I asked for DD info, and she printed it and gave it to me. Today, I looked at my account, and she gave me DD information for my savings account. Getting DD information changed at my job is a hassle. Having my money go to the wrong account isn't that a big of a deal, but its an inconvenience. Details matter. I don’t have a lot of confidence in their banking system when they can’t get the little thing right.

My family has occupied this valley since 1863, and until recently (Oct '19), I had used the big banks like Washington Mutual, US Bank, Chase, etc. I got tired of the cattle car approach so I opened an account with ICCU. The people at this branch, and ICCU have treated me, my daughter, and my general family phenomenally! The Bank has helped in any way they can and has been like a family friend when I needed them most! I highly recommend this institution for all banking needs! Great bank and great employees!

Tried to deposit a check. It has been over 3 months and it still has not been deposited into my account. Not sure if it's the location or the company, but it would be much safer trusting your money with another bank.n-a broke college student

I had money in my account, a transfer, I wanted to get a cashiers check to pay rent. Even though the money was available in my account they wouldn’t write me a cashiers check. Never had this problem at any other branch. State St. is the worst, pick a different one.

I've been with ICCU for more than 2 decades. My experience with loans, accounts, cd's and customer service has always been excellent. I have noticed an increase in wait times in the last year or so with all the newcomers. But the staff is always pleasant and they try to get thru the lines as quickly as possible.
