NorthSide Grill & Sushi

We have dined here several times over the last few years as the view and ambiance are stunning. The sushi has always been decent, other food and service were historically a miss, until now. Wow, what a change! New chef, new bartender, new host, and new menu have turned this into one of the best dining experiences in town! The mood was friendly and inviting, food was delicious, and we were lucky enough to have the bartender as our server as well. Bright, thoughtful, intelligent and an alll around great server and then some. The citrus encrusted catch of the day was the winner, but all food was excellent including sushi, which is even better than before. Historically I'd give this place a low 3, but now it's 5 star all day.

Decided to try this restaurant out after a lovely photo shoot with me and my wife today. The atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing, all the decors, chairs and tables are up to date. Lighting is very soft and not too up in your face. Has a nice view of some palm trees, the road and another restaurant across the street. Our server was amazing and he was doing everything by himself like taking our orders and making our drinks, while assisting to other customers that was there dining in. Me and my wife both had margaritas which were well made by the way and we shared the ahi poke which was so delicious, I wanted more of it. The problem that I had with the ahi poke was the amount you get for $14, I just feel like for that price there needs to be a bit more ahi and nachos. I ordered the Hawaiian teriyaki chicken with seared potatoes and it was amazing like super delicious. My wife got dragon roll and she's japanese and she said it was really good so that says a lot. We are definitely coming back here, really enjoyed everything.

Not sure why this place has bad reviews but the lemon crusted fresh 'Ono was delicious. Perfect with a flight of sake.

We went there for our anniversary. And we’re pleasantly surprised ant how friendly the staff was and happy to recommend sake and sushi choices. Adam. Jenna and the guy with green hair made our night special. We will go again!!!

Amazing food, great atmosphere! The atmosphere is awesome, the view breath taking, and the food was to die for! Yum! A must stop!
