Definitely steep trail and nice little beach. Coming back up the trail will have you breathing heavy and sweating! Enjoy.

There are tons of biting insects here. I don’t typically get bit in Hawaii, so this was a big surprise. Not only that, but the trail is slippery and muddy. We only made it to the fork in the trail before bailing out and just driving down.

Wyllie beach is very dirty and the river is high in toxins. Mercury being the #1 highest. It does run off the prince ille golf course so it’s polluted. If you do go in the water I suggest you go east of the river. There are turtles and fish of plenty kinds. Enjoy and be safe. Don’t get caught in the channel. You may not come back alive.

Can be used to access Wyllie's beach and also Anini beach provided you can get across the river (may need to wade through five and a half feet of water) The trail is a little steep and a little slippery after any rain, but I was able to get down in flip flops. Both Wyllie's and Anini beaches are beautiful.

Anini beach - which has beachfront parking - and Wyllie beach - which requires a 15 minute muddy trek from the parking lot - are the same beach. Save yourself the trouble and drive to anini.
