Arboretum & Botanical Garden

We'll be returning in the spring when hopefully covid restrictions are lifted and we can go inside the building, and hopefully an amazing array of flowers will be blooming, as well as all the trees being full of life.nnThe arboretum itself was very pretty, and there were plenty of squirrels all around. We even got a picture of a stork as it was fishing. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet walk through nature.

Nice park. They had signs for what each tree is and there were a lot of memorial stones. Some of the paths look a little neglected but otherwise it was a very beautiful arboretum. The rose garden and the one tree you could go inside like a room were the best parts for me.

My goodness. It was a surprise. We were on our way from walla walla to Seattle. We stopped by to check it out. Stunned by vast arboretum with water features. Very nice park to lay in sun at the park. Flat park. I'm from Seattle. So flat parks are not usual.

Beautiful place to walk the dog around and it's so large and open with plenty of large shade trees. My favorite is the Japanese garden with the waterfall and ponds. Truly one of Yakima's hidden gems! I love going there every weekend and to look at something new. It's a nice place to go and walk off the cabin fever ud83dude1c

Beautiful grounds and a great variety of flora to admire. Loved the bee colony on site and the walking paths connected to the rest of the city
