Great place, fantastic value and quality food
Lots of good vegan options, but they have a real problem with moldy or rotting produce. I have this problem every time I buy produce here, with a variety of foods - apples, onions, peppers, grapes, etc.
Mariposa is a pretty standard food co-op in that it has a limited selection of mostly-organic stock items and it’s prices are a little higher than your average grocery store. That said, I am always down to support a local business, especially one that hires from the neighborhood like Mariposa does. I’ve always found the staff at Mariposa to be kind and helpful, and Mariposa definitely has the best fresh produce I can get without having to drive anywhere. I love living near Mariposa and am happy to spend my money there when I do.
Staff was very hospitable and courteous. Posses a good of knowledge of products in the store. Prices were fair and store was clean.
Really great place. Just wish they had a water dispenser to refill your bottle containers. It would make life so much easier.
