Small amount of people and lots of shade, makes for a good labor day weekend picnic experience.
Great place for a picnic. There are covered areas and open areas. Need a state park pass to enter.
Beautiful cute little park. Currently playscapes closed due to covid concerns, friendly ducks. Please don't feed the ducks bread...
I wasn't at Yakima Sportsman Park. I haven't been here for a while? Maybe I can come here this summer for something to do? I haven't really been able to get out that much even though I would like to. Thanks. KP
The park is very peaceful and full of shade. The river passes right next to the park. The only problem is there is no basketball hoops for someone looking to play sports.
