El Porton Restaurant

I’ve been here several times before with various friends & everything was great, however today was different. Don’t get me wrong the food is delicious! Customer service was off today. My friend and I were never asked if we wanted more salsa & chips which is common in a “Mexican restaurant” we were brought our food & never asked if were doing well or if we needed anything else. Evidently we weren’t good enough tonight. I feel embarrassed to have brought a good friend here & disgusted by the service. The heater must have been inoperable because it was freezing cold ud83eudd76

Food and service was good. Don’t use a credit card however. Our number was stolen and the following day fraudulent charges started appearing on our account. Hadn’t been used anywhere else by us before or after eating at El Porton. 5 stars to our credit card fraud department.

Just left and I was highly disappointed. . I ordered a tamale and tostada meal, my daughter ordered a 2 enchilada meal. They served me a very hard tamale and an enchilada. I returned it and was told I was going to be charged extra ,then I was served back the exact same plate with enchilada sauce all over the beans.... my daughter was given a tostada and enchilada. Wrong order.. Returned plates untouched and paid for our drinks. Do not recommend this place .

I had their shrimp mixed with fried vegetables served on cheesy rice with a marvelous sauce and it was terrific!

The food here is great. We were passing through town during quarantine and there was a line down the street, so we figured it was good food. Absolutely true! The shrimp fajitas and shrimp con crema is fantastic. The salads are really delish too. The amount of food you get is crazy. Really good value for your money!!!
