H+R Block, at least the Sumas Way location is awesome. Use WENDY, my wife and I have for years. She knows her stuff and can get you through the process quickly. She can even read my chicken scratch writing so extra points for that. Rob Burton, Abbotsford BC

A family member of mine recently got their taxes done here. From normally going to Money Mart and being happy with them, until they stopped filing taxes this year. She usually gets a nice tax return have for years, except for this year apparently. They made a mistake and are sure they didn't. How convenient for them, working for the government ripping all of those people off who file here. Go somewhere else.

I came to H&R because Money Mart isn't doing it anymore. I was happy that I got a discount for being recommended by Money Mart. It is pricey for me to do my taxes now, that my raise bumped me up to a new tax bracket. I was expecting a big return, only to find out that it's not big at all. Enough for lunch or breakfast. That's it...

I've gone to this location for a few years now and usually it has been good service. The experience I had this year was unfortunately disappointing. Things were said to me on the phone that were not true when we arrived. Our tax representative then tried to deny it. The customer is always right ;). Very unprofessional customer service. We will not be back!

Tax experts should be properly trained and not leave me feeling as if I should have just done the taxes myself. Sure someone else came and helped the poor tax expert who was helping me, but that didn't ease my discomfort or uncertainty. I still feel as if I wasted x amount of dollars doing something that shouldn't have been very complicated, I'm a T4 employee. Also, the process took 2 hours. Not acceptable.
