Magic. Pure MAGIC. My wife Lauren and I are forever grateful for the experiences we had at our extended stay with Lisa & Glen. By far the BEST harvest host experience we’ve had to date.nnThey are so kind and the farm has more gems around it than you can find in a single stay. We made lifelong friends with them and can’t wait to be back again. Hopefully they’ll have space for us because everyone is catching on to the fact that this is one of the best places to camp in WA!!

2 couples met up to camp at Oostema Farm for 2 nights to getaway and spend timentogether. It was a great, relaxing stay. Lisa introduced us to all the workings as soon as we got there. The space was perfect and we were able to be close to our friends and enjoy our time together. The farm is lovely with masses of dahlias, zinneas and other thoughtful plantings including veggies to harvest. We had corn both nights! My husband and I had our bikes and rode the back roads into Everson. It was a beautiful day, with great scenery and flat roads! We got a super tour of the barns with history of the farm explained by Lisa. Our friend who is an Ironman was able to get his morning runs in with a great workout to keep up his training. Thanks to our great hosts! We will return!

We picked the wrong weekend to go camping because of the smoke in the air from various wild fires. Lisa, at the Farmstead, allowed us to shift our reservation from Sunday/Monday, to Monday /Tuesday to see if the smoke would be less then. That really helped and, although we limited our outside exposure as much as possible we had a great time visiting the Farmstead barn where we met the two goats Sonny & Cher, the big black pig, silvia (who made all the grunting sounds that every pig should make) and some new cow calves recently born. Perfect place to show your kids about farm animals ! RV sites are well seperated and in good working order. Very clean & well organized . Perfect place for a relaxing stay!

We took our trailer on its inaugural trip to Oostema and we enjoyed ourselves so much. Small & quiet. We took our daughter and her boyfriend and they too both enjoyed it. The gardens are beautifully kept. We had beautiful dahlia's given to us to put on our picnic table. Plus a zucchininto take home! Lisa was attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone. I'm not one to usually right a review, but this one was worth my time. We will go back!

This is a fun place to camp, and the hosts have done (nearly) everything just right to make this a great experience. Reasonable price, smooth check-in, big bins of firewood available for purchase, very quiet/peaceful, nicely maintained, grassy campsites, easy access to sinks/water, friendly/helpful host. What sets it apart from your standard campground: beautiful pick-your-own flowers and veggies, rows of raspberries to pick, farm animals to feed (which the kids loved), pretty grounds. Only slight issues (which weren't big deals, but keep in mind knowing your tolerances): there's almost zero privacy, because the sites are wide open and relatively close together; and the bathrooms are just standard port-a-potties (with lots of bugs and spiders), which were fine and pretty clean, but they don't really match the quality/charm of the rest of the place, IMHO. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again myself!
