This is the worst customs broker i have ever dealt with. They had my paperwork 36 hrs before my driver was scheduled to arrive at the border. It took 4 phone calls to get them to even process it and then when they did finally process it they did it wrong. I would not reccomend them to anyone.
If you are a small company, don't use them to do customs clearance. They did not care about getting back the duties you double paid. No one in the company is really in charge of taking care of customer services. We ended up giving up the double paid several thousands dollars. We just wanted to stay away from them.
Nobody here seems to be concerned that their cavalier work ethic costs their customers money nor do they seem bothered by lying to avoid looking inefficient.nI sent in appropriate paperwork on a Wednesday.nI called Friday to check on progress and was told that it was complete.nOn Monday, I find out my clearance has not even been started yet.nPoor service.nPoor work attitude.nNot indicative of a broker that will perform as they are paid to do.
A&A is helping me transition from another customs broker who has grown too large to provide good service. They're reviewing the way we do everything to make sure we are not only in compliance but aren't wasting time and money doing things we aren't required to do. It's a bit of a learning curve to switch but they have been patient throughout and I'm confident our transactions will be both easier and less costly once we get everything set up.
I called my import a week ahead of time. Everything was supposed to be in order to pick up at the Emerson crossing. My wife had to walk the 1/4 mile to their office and complete everything from scratch. Nothing was ready. I would have been faster by completing the transaction at Canada Customs and it wouldn't have cost us the time (1hr) and money.
