Decent trails overall for the park. Picnic tables and equipment are in good shape. Lots of space despite the amount of people visiting the park. The fairy house display is not marked anywhere on the trails. It's located on the Northwest side of the park inside the forest. Note that there's a hornets nest in the area for anyone with severe allergies.
Bit of a gem for the area. Really enjoyable trails with a great assortment of tree types. The are several fields where you can have a picnic, and there's also a play park for the kids (just wish parents would be better about ensuring appropriate distancing during this time of COVID-19).nnThe fairy forest with all the cute birdhouses is really fun to see, especially when you're there with your kid and you let your imagination run free.nnDefinitely recommend visiting when you want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle.
It is a BEAUTIFUL park!!!!!!! There is a fairy garden part way through the forest which has 100's of fairy homes made by many people. There is a playground for kids. Trails to walk on. They have actual flush toilet bathrooms. There are also covered eating areas if you plan to have a picnic or bar-b-q with friends and family. I find it to be the most perfect park.
This park is well worth a visit. We come here often with our grandchildren. The play area is great. There are lots of picnic tables for families. There are clean restrooms, and the best part is the historic treehouse and the fairy woods. Won’t spoil the surprise. It’s worth your time and enjoyment to discover it.
We live near this park. We've taken most of our visiting friends to visit the park, too. The little ones can spend hours looking at the fairy village and creating their own fairy house out of branches, moss and grass. The playground seems to keep kids of all ages occupied and there are lots of VERY long covered picnic tables to enjoy a bite to eat.
