What a beautiful thing to see people from across the boarder to have a socially distanced place to reconnect during these times. Thank you for the kindness and respect of both the boarder agents and park goers.
A unique spot that combines natural beauty and the opportunity for American's & Canadians to meet face to face in a tranquil setting and without much bureaucratic interferences. Spring through early fall also sees numerous sculptures installed throughout the park as well. All in all, a beautiful spot to relax no matter which side of the border you're from.
Under construction...
The iconic Peace Arch on.the Canada / USA border is a symbol of the enduring friendship between these two great countries. Maybe these gates never be closed...except for Covid-19...but the park itself is still open on both sides of the border. The British Columbia side is nicer but really, the highlight is the region between the two border crossings in the middle of the freeway. Always worth a visit.
