Lee Yuen Seafood Restaurant (South Surrey)

The dishes are definitely a hit or miss. Not if they switch their chefs a lot, but the flavours and ingredients of the dishes are inconsistent. Probably won't revisit the restaurant.

Disappointing customer service after I brought back a takeout dish. Kung Pao chicken was flavourless, full of carrots! and other vegetables, with only a small amount of what looked and tasted like steamed chicken. Nothing like any others I have had. The lady I spoke to said this is they way they do it, end of story. Did not offer to refund or change it out. Friends recommended this place, however Ill probably give it a miss in the future.

After spending an amazing fall afternoon outdoors we had a craving for Chinese food. After reviewing the Lee Yuen, White Rock menu online we chose the Combo Dinner for 2-(A1). This option included 2 Spring rolls, Chicken Chow Mein, Pineapple Sweet And Sour Pork and Beef With Broccoli. The online menu pricing for this was $32.95, however, when I went to pick it up, the bill stated $35.95! When asked about the bill not matching their online menu pricing, the proprietor made a lame excuse about the website not being updated, but would NOT honor their online price. Instead, she gave me a paper menu that matched the price on the bill, then quickly turned away to serve another customer! I nearly left at this point and probably should have, because the food reflected their tasteless customer service. The Spring Rolls were only average. The Sweet And Sour Pork and the Beef And Broccoli were gristly. The Chicken Chow Mein had to be about as BLAND and DRY as well as FLAVORLESS as we've ever had, and we've been enjoying Chinese food for over 55 years! Upon further study of their paper menu, it showed a print date of 7/20. Lee Yuen had 3 months to update their online menu to match their paper menus, but chose not to.nBuyer BEWARE. ud83dude1f

Had S & S pork, not real good, but I am going back for dim sum, see what happens then. The server was great! Friendly and obliging.

Just an overall bad experience. Not coming back here again. Save yourselves from waiting, half decent food and rude servers. I don't review a lot but it was an awful experience.
